The race is based in Ludlow, Shropshire. The start and finish of the race will be at Ludlow Rugby Club, Ludlow, SY8 1EE
Race HQ and the registration point will be at Ludlow Rugby Club, Ludlow, SY8 1EE.
Ludlow is situated on the A49 trunk road which runs from Warrington, through Shrewsbury and Hereford to Ross-on-Wye. From Birmingham, head west on the A456 through Kidderminster. From the M5 leave at junction 3 and continue on the A456 through Kidderminster.
Parking:
Due to only some of the course being on closed roads, there is parking available at Race HQ, Ludlow Rugby Club, Linney, SY8 1EE . We ask that all athletes arrive for all race distances from the Westerly direction, using Dinham Bridge and the Linney, thereby avoiding the Easterly Corve Street approach (this will be closed form 0730). The Dinham Bridge access will be then closed at 0845, so all 10k and 5k athletes will need to arrive in good time. There are also an additional three main car parks in the centre of Ludlow – at Upper Galdeford (Budgens Supermarket), Lower Galdeford (Smithfield), and Castle Street*. They operate on a pay-and-display basis. *Please be aware that entry and exit to Castle Street Car Park will affected by race road closures that start at 1800.
